Halima Binti Yacoob was born on 23rd August 1954 in Singapore country. She is the current President of her country who was elected in the 2017 election for Singaporean President. She was sworn in as President on 13th September 2017. She is the first female President of Singapore country.
Umrah
Umrah is a spiritual journey for all Muslims, and it is performed in the Masjid al-Haram, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Millions of Muslims perform Umrah every year because it is Sunnah.
Therefore, there is no restriction to perform Umrah in multi times, but Hajj is only prescribed for one time in life because Hajj is a Fard or compulsory part of Islam.
Umrah can be performed at any time of year except for the days of Hajj, and this condition is only applicable for those people who are GCC nationals, who have permanent residency or work permits and who are inhabitants of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry stop issuing any Umrah Visa for such countries which are not contained in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). It is a political and economic alliance of six states.
Which countries are included in GCC?
Except of these six countries, people are not allowed to enter after 15th Ramadan for Umrah. I recently performed it by getting a November Umrah Package from London, and it had made my journey ease in travelling to Saudi Arabia.
